Bicyclist struck, killed in Greenacres as driver flees

A bicyclist lost their life early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Greenacres.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 6 a.m. on 10th Avenue North near Haverhill Road.

Authorities reported that the male bicyclist died at the scene, and the driver of the vehicle involved fled the area after the crash.

The Sheriff’s Office said that they believe they have identified the vehicle and are currently searching for it.
