Firefighters with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the area of North A1A and North U.S. 1 for a traffic incident involving a bicyclist.
Units say they located the bicyclist trapped underneath a vehicle upon arrival.
The individual was reportedly riding their bike when a vehicle struck them and rolled over both them and their bicycle.
Crews extricated the patient from under the vehicle, stabilized them at the scene, and airlifted them to the local hospital as a trauma alert.
The crash subsequently caused all northbound lanes to shut down on the U.S. 1 bridge in Jupiter
