A fatal crash in Hernando County left two dead on Sunday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.

Just before noon, a 22-year-old Brooksville woman driving a Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Daly Road when she entered the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 70-year-old Homosassa man.

The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Daly Road and Lake Lindsey Road.

Both drivers were found fatally injured on the scene, FHP said.

The investigation is ongoing.
