Traffic cameras captured video of a box truck on fire at convenience store on University Parkway Monday afternoon, mere feet way from gas pumps.
The fire broke out just before 1 p.m. at the Wawa at University Parkway and Honore Avenue.
Florida Department of Transportation cameras showed huge plumes of white smoke as Sarasota County firefighters poured water on the skeleton of the truck.
The fire was contained to the contents of the truck, the Sarasota County Fire Department said. There were no reported injuries.
