Bradenton woman hits two poles, dies

A 25-year-old Bradenton woman died Sunday morning after losing control on Cortez Road.

Crash investigators report that the woman was driving a sedan east of 44th Ave when she veered off of a curving road, drove through a grass shoulder, and struck two poles.

First responders say the woman didn’t survive the collision with the light and utility poles. The investigation is still ongoing.
