Bradford County Fire Rescue battles residential fire

BCFR units were called to a residential area after a fire began to spread.

BCFR responded to a fire near the 11000 block of Southeast 59th Avenue in Hampton.

In a social media post, BCFR officials say that the firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread to a nearby home.

Officials say that no injuries were reported and the Bradford County Fire Rescue Chief believes the cause of the fire is electrical.
