Three people are recovering after a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy cruiser and a van slammed into each other.
It happened Wednesday afternoon near the intersection for State Road 7 and West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.
Authorities closed the intersection as a result of the crash.
Deputies said three people were rushed the hospital after the crash, one with serious injuries.
They did not say what led up to the crash or whether it was the deputy who was seriously injured.
