BSO: Man barricades himself after stabbing woman in Dania Beach

A man was arrested Thursday after a domestic incident that led to a standoff in Dania Beach, authorities said.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded shortly before 1 p.m. to the 4400 block of Treasure Cove Drive, where they found a woman with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Officials said the suspect barricaded himself inside a home before surrendering after several hours. The sheriff’s Special Victims Unit is investigating.

No other details were immediately released.
