 A burglary call in Escambia County escalated into a car chase, ending in a crash, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies pursued the suspect’s vehicle near Oakfield Road and Palafox, but the chase concluded when the car crashed.

The suspect then fled on foot. Deputies were seen flying drones at the scene and are actively looking for the individual.
