A rollover crash on I-95 drew quick action from bystanders who rushed to help before firefighters arrived.

On Sunday, firefighters with the St. Lucie County Fire Rescue (SLCFR) were dispatched to a rollover crash on northbound I-95.

When firefighters arrived, several good Samaritans were already lending a hand and attempting to roll the vehicle, per SLCFR.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and began treating the patient before working to safely remove them from the wreckage.

Due to the vehicle’s position near a guardrail, the extrication was complex, but firefighters say it was completed in under 45 minutes. The driver was subsequently transported to the hospital.
