Cantonment man killed; 2 others injured in Escambia County crash.

A Cantonment man is dead, and two others are injured after a crash in Escambia County on Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened on Beverly Parkway and Pipeline Road at around 12:28 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that three pickup trucks collided when a Nissan, traveling east, crossed the center turn lane, entered the path of a Ford pickup truck, traveling west.

The Ford swerved and sustained sideswipe damage. The Nissan continued to cross the oncoming lanes before colliding head-on with a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

FHP says the Nissan and the Ram came to a final rest in the roadway.

The driver of the Nissan, a 42-year-old Cantonment man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 68-year-old Milton man. occupying the Ram, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A passenger of the Nissan also suffered minor injuries.
