Cape Coral man arrested after being accused of sexually battering 7-year-old child

A Cape Coral man was arrested on Tuesday after being accused of sexually battering a child.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, James Tabor, 47, began doing this when she was 7 years old.

Tabor had a felony warrant for lewd and lascivious molestation issued by detectives at the Cape Coral Police Department and approved by the State Attorney’s Office.

The United States Marshals Service Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force and Fort Myers Office began an investigation to find and arrest him.

He was located outside his home and taken into custody.
