A rollover crash involving two vehicles on Santa Barbara Boulevard in Cape Coral on Friday morning turned into a hit-and-run after one vehicle was accused of fleeing the scene as police searched for the driver.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, the investigation of the crash is ongoing and there were minor injuries.
The crash happened near Southwest 22nd Terrace and caused delays southbound on Santa Barbara Boulevard near Cape Coral High School.
Officers and a tow truck were seen at the scene of the crash. The police say that potentially more information could come.
