A car crashed into the side of a garage in a residential area of Villas Thursday morning.
South Trail Fire crews responded to the scene on Fordham Street shortly after 5 a.m.
A crew on scene told Gulf Coast News there were no injuries in the crash.
Ring camera footage from a neighbor was provided to Gulf Coast News, which showed the moment the car crashed through the garage.
Gulf Coast News crews also reported that a person was detained at the scene. Gulf Coast News is awaiting confirmation from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on whether the person detained was the driver of the vehicle.
