Car crashes into tree in Cape Coral, police investigate

Police are investigating after a car crashed into a tree early Wednesday morning in Cape Coral.

The crash happened just after 4 a.m. along Nicholas Parkway near Santa Barbara Boulevard, where a car crashed into one of the trees in the road’s median, the Cape Coral Police Department said.

CCPD said there were no injuries.

Westbound Nicholas Parkway was closed while a tow truck removed the car. The road is now clear.

Officers are working to determine the cause of the crash and whether any charges will be filed.
