A single-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Oviedo slowed traffic on State Road 417, according to a city spokesperson.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes at the Red Bug Lake Road overpass, the spokesperson said in a statement. The vehicle struck a guard rail and overturned, as can be seen in pictures shared by the city.

There were no hospital transports from the crash, according to the city.

Traffic was backed up as far as exit 44 (State Road 434), about two miles up the road, according to FL 511. Traffic cameras showed one left lane blocked at the original time of this report, now cleared at last look.

No other information has been shared or confirmed, such as further details on the circumstances believed to have led up to the crash or any more word on possible injuries.
