A deadly collision between a bicyclist and a car early Friday morning in Jupiter prompted a road closure, which lasted for just over four hours.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) said that they responded to the crash at around 1:30 a.m. near Indiantown Road and Taylor Road.
Upon arrival, emergency units reported learning that the crash involved a bicyclist and a car.
Unfortunately, PBCFR said that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the crash, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) took over the investigation.
PBCFR said that they were later called back to assist with the final clearing of the scene and officially left the area at approximately 5:50 a.m.
