Around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, a 61-year-old man was hit by a truck in Bay County. The vehicle was traveling in the northbound lane of Star Avenue when it hit the pedestrian also walking along the northbound lane, according to Florida Highway Patrol. A motorcyclist was killed in the early hours of Monday morning. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old Mary Esther man, was riding on Highway 98 near Brookwood Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. They said a truck, being driven by a 60-year-old Pensacola man, was driving along near the motorcycle.
