The Boca Raton Police Department announced Friday that it had arrested two people in connection with a carjacking that occurred along Southwest 18 Street Thursday afternoon. Kevin McCall, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were both charged with carjacking with a firearm. A 68-year-old Pensacola woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Escambia County, according to FHP. Troopers say the crash occurred around 5: 30 p.m. when a 62-year-old Pensacola man driving an Audi SUV was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 approaching Exit 17 to Scenic Highway. According to FHP, the Audi struck a large concrete wall after losing control while taking a curve in the roadway. This caused the SUV to spin in the ditch, ejecting the front passenger.

A cyclist was killed by a pick-up truck in St. Petersburg on Saturday, according to police. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers said a man is dead after a crash in Middleburg. The victim was a 44-year-old man from Starke who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Investigators say he was traveling westbound on Carter Spencer Road negotiating a curve when he left the roadway to the right. He then traveled through a fence, into a tree and sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the Orange Park Medical Center. FHP

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Jackson County Sheriff’s Office investigators, and Jackson County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a shooting in Jacob on Sunday. According to a news release, upon arrival, it was discovered that one person had been shot. During the investigation, officials said this was related to an ongoing dispute that has been occurring in Graceville. It was discovered that one of the parties involved, Reginald Williams was on state probation and is a convicted felon, officials
