One person is in the hospital after a crash ended with a car in a pond in Naples Wednesday evening. CCSO responded to the scene along Collier Boulevard, in front of Physicians Regional, just north of Lely Cultural Parkway around 10:45 p.m. Deputies said two people were inside the car while the vehicle was in the water. A 12-year-old girl suffered serious injuries Wednesday when she was struck by a pickup truck while walking in Marion County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. A 20-year-old man from Miami was arrested Wednesday after he stabbed his own brother inside their home, authorities said. According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, Alexander Rodriguez and his brother were in the kitchen arguing around 6:40 p.m. when Rodriguez grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the neck.
