Around 6:40 a.m. Walton County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire on Punch Bowl Road in Gaskin. A man was shot and killed following an altercation at a gas station in Pompano Beach. The incident occurred at the Race Trac located at 599 West Atlantic Boulevard around 5 p.m., Sunday. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crews located 37-year-old Brian Semil suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased. According to Broward Sheriff’s Office, Semil tried to forcibly enter a vehicle that was occupied by a mother and her children.
