A suspect has been arrested after a man was killed following a Friday morning shooting in Orange County. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 7300 block of Lake Underhill Road around 9 a.m. after reports of a shooting. There, deputies say they found a man in his 40s who had been shot. The man was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries. The man was later identified as 48-year-old Steve Torruella Rodriguez.

A 22-year-old Ocala man has been arrested on battery and assault charges after he allegedly punched and bit his boyfriend inside a car they were living in and threatened to harm him with scissors. According to South Trail Fire and Rescue, the vehicle drove onto the front strip mall sidewalk and hit a decorative exterior column. An Orange County deputy faces new charges after he was caught stalking a Seminole County detective who investigated him earlier this year for possessing child pornography, according to the Mt. Police are investigating after an 11-year-old boy was shot and killed in St. Petersburg Thursday night. The St. Petersburg Police Department said officers responded to a home on 11th Avenue South around 9:42 p.m. after receiving reports about the shooting. When they arrived, officers found Veondre Hargrove, who had already passed away inside the home.
