FHP troopers also say an 83-year-old man from Chiefland is dead after a crash in Levy County.
Troopers say the man was driving an SUV south on County Road 347 just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
The SUV collided with a semi-truck while approaching the U.S. Highway 19 intersection.
The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
