New information was revealed in a shooting where an 11-year-old was shot and injured in West Palm Beach on Monday.
According to the West Palm Beach Police Spokesperson, Mike Jachles, officers made an arrest of a 12-year-old who brought two guns to a house to sell to two other boys.
Jachles said the 12-year-old and the two other boys were not the shooter, nor did they live in the house where the shooting occurred.
The 12-year-old boy was booked on two counts of carrying a concealed weapon and was taken to a Juvenile Assessment Center. Police were able to recover one gun found at the 12-year-old’s home.
The State Attorney will be presented with the case involving the shooter.
On Monday afternoon CBS12 News received reports of an 11-year-old who was shot while kids were playing with a gun.
The child’s injuries were not life-threatening. Jachles said there were nine other kids in the house, including the 11-year-old when the shooting happened between Grant Street and Division Ave.
