A child is in the hospital following a fiery two-vehicle crash in Palm Beach County.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR), at about 8:45 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Jog Road near Lantana Road after it had received reports of a vehicle crash with a fire. Upon arrival, units found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, all occupants were out of the vehicle. Two of the people involved in the crash met trauma alert criteria, and there was a child who met pediatric trauma alert criteria.
The three individuals were taken to the hospital by ground units.
At this time, a PBCFR investigator is on the scene in addition to investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
