A child was injured in a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in North Naples Sunday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at around 9:28 p.m. and closed all lanes of Vanderbilt Beach Road at Airport Pulling Road at the time.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the child was struck by the car after walking into the intersection, ignoring the pedestrian traffic control signal.

The crash remains under investigation.
