Child struck by golf cart while trick-or-treating in Cove neighborhood

One child was injured while trick-or-treating tonight in the Cove neighborhood.

At approximately 7:15 Friday night, a child was struck by a golf cart on South Cove Lane.

Bay County Fire Rescue arrived on the scene, and took the child to the hospital as a precautionary measure. It is unknown yet if the child suffered any injuries.

The Panama City Police Department is actively investigating this case.

News 13 will provide more information on this as it becomes available.
