A Clearwater home sustained major damage Thursday night after a garage fire that also spread to a car and a boat in the driveway, according to Clearwater Fire & Rescue.
The fire happened at about 8:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of Sarah Drive, officials said. Several people were home at the time and were able to get out unharmed.
The house had major damage and a neighboring house also had minor heat damage.
The Red Cross will assist the family, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
