Clearwater Fire and Rescue made “quick work” of a mobile home fire that was caused by a lightning strike.
Firefighters responded just after 8 p.m. Saturday to the Bay Aristocrat Village where the strike started a fire on the roof of a home.
Video shared by officials shows the smoke and flames coming from the top of the home as more lightning can be seen off in the distance.
Firefighters say no injuries were reported and the residents inside the home were able to get out on their own. Damage to the home was minimal, they said.
