The U.S. Coast Guard rescued nearly a dozen people in Key Largo on Saturday after they said a 24-foot boat struck mangroves near Sunset Point and began to sink.

Authorities confirmed that 10 people were on board at the time of the incident. No major injuries were reported.

They said efforts are underway to recover the vessel.
