Craig McCall Killed in Car Crash

Realtors in Gainesville are mourning the loss of a prominent colleague after a tragic car accident left him dead, and his son in critical condition.

Craig McCall was travelling from Gainesville to Tennessee when he was involved in the accident. He was a well known realtor here in Gainesville for nearly 20 years. He was a realtor in the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors and the President with Florida Realtors in 2009.

McCall was a realtor in the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors and a 2009 president with Florida Realtors.

Colleagues and friends say he was a staple in the community and he will be forever missed.

Broker Associate, Joyce Dorval, succeeded McCall as President of Florida Realtors in 2010. She tells TV20, “He was such a gentleman. He was soft spoken and driven. Just a perfect gentleman at all times. He’d tell my husband, don’t worry when we’re travelling I’ll make sure she’s okay. You know he was that kind of a friend, he was looking out for me every time we travelled.”

Craig’s son, Zac, is still being treated in the hospital with serious injuries and we will bring you updates when we get them.
