Crash causes water disruption in Panama City

According to Panama City officials, the Cove and downtown Panama City area were without water Tuesday afternoon after a car ran into a fire hydrant.

The hydrant was located at the corner of Wilson Ave and E First Court. Officials have shut off a valve to isolate the impact, but the water main is still flowing.

Everyone west of the Tarpon Dock Bridge should have water again and water should be boiled out of an abundance of caution, officials said.
