Police tape blocked off the intersection of Surfside Boulevard and Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral following a crash that left two cars damaged and debris scattered across the road.
Reporters on the scene could see pieces of car parts in the middle of the intersection. A black Acura at the crosswalk was missing its headlights, and a purple sedan nearby lost its entire front end. A road sign at the scene was bent.
The Cape Coral Police Department has been contacted to determine how the crash happened and whether anyone was injured.
