A 63-year old man is dead in Palatka after turning into another car and being ejected from his seat.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say that at around 7:30 Thursday night, the 63-year old was stopped at the stop sign on Cracker Swamp Road when he began to turn into the path of a second vehicle that was traveling south on State Road 207.
As he was turning, the 63-year old man entered into the lane of the 2nd vehicle when he hit the left side of the other driver’s car.
According to the crash report, the 63-year-old driver was ejected from his seat and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the 2nd vehicle sustained only have minor injuries.
