Crash involving mail truck on 103rd Street kills postal worker, injures 2 others.

A deadly crash involving a mail truck shut down 103rd and Lambing Road Tuesday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department confirmed that one person was killed in the crash.

A report from Florida Highway Patrol identified the person killed a 40-year-old postal worker. 

The mail truck was overturned in the accident. 

The report says two other cars were involved. A 45-year-old had minor injuries and a 58-year-old also had minor injuries.

The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department said in addition to the deceased driver, one of the others involved was taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The crash caused traffic congestion around the area.

It is unknown when the scene will reopen.
