An accident involving a school bus is leaving traffic on US-41 slowed in both directions.
It is till unknown what caused the crash. It occurred at 7:13 a.m. on US 41 and Laurel rd.
No roads are closed as a result of this accident.
Sarasota County Sheriff is continuing to investigate this incident.
According to Sarasota County Schools, there were no students aboard the bus.
However, the bus driver and bus aide had injuries and were treated at the scene.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved was taken to SMH- Venice to be treated for minor injuries.
