Drivers in southern Sarasota County are seeing major traffic delays on Interstate 75 after a semi-truck and dump truck collided.
It happened just after 5:30 a.m. on northbound I-75 at mile marker 194. According to Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) traffic maps, the crash is just beyond Exit 193 for Jacaranda Boulevard. This is in the Venice area. Few details are available about this crash.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says only one northbound lane on I-75 is open. Florida Highway Patrol is reportedly en route to the crash.
