Crash involving SUV, cyclists lead to road closure in Delray Beach

A crash involving an SUV and six bicyclists has led to a road closure on North Ocean Blvd, says Delray Beach Fire Rescue (DBFR).

At 6:45 a.m. units from DBFR responded to the scene.

According to DBFR, North Ocean Blvd is closed between the George Bush Blvd Bridge and Woolbright Bridge.

The driver of the vehicle and the six cyclists were transported to a hospital by DBFR, units say.

Three of the cyclists are trauma alerts.

The Gulf Stream Police Department is investigating the scene.
