Crash on Beeline Highway claims life of 59-year-old man days after collision

A crash on Beeline Highway claimed the life of a 59-year-old man, who succumbed to his injuries just days after the crash at a Riviera Beach intersection.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division, on June 29, a Hyundai, driven by 59-year-old CDP, was traveling westbound on Beeline Highway and turning south onto Haverhill Road.

Officials reported that at the same time, a GMC was heading eastbound on Beeline Highway in the inside lane. As both vehicles entered the intersection, they collided at an angle, the crash report states.

The Sheriff’s office said that DP, along with the driver and passenger of the GMC, were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

However, on Tuesday morning, DP succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by officials.
