A crash on the Courtney Campbell Causeway sent at least one person to the hospital Tuesday evening.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes, just east of Dr. Kiran Patel Boulevard, according to a spokesperson for the City of Clearwater.
Officials said at least one person was taken to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert.
The westbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway were shut down while first responders worked the scene.
Traffic cameras showed several emergency vehicles in the area, and some drivers could be seen making U-turns to avoid the crash site.
