Crash on I-95 near NW 95th Street cause heavy traffic delays in north and southbound lanes

A northbound accident on Interstate 95 is causing heavy congestion and traffic delays in the north and southbound lanes.

The crash happened in the express lanes on the northbound side near Northwest 95th Street.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a tractor trailer was traveling north and spun out of control, colliding into an SUV and then into a concrete barrier.

As a result, cars were being forced out of the express lanes onto the main lines.

Delays stretched all the way back towards Northwest 54th Street.

The southbound express lanes were also brought to a slow crawl, with debris from the crash falling onto the lanes and striking a pickup truck. Which monetarily blocked the southbound lanes before being moved to the left shoulder.

Two ambulances were seen at the crash site but only minor injuries were reported and no one was taken to the hospital.

At last check the northbound express lanes are still closed and 1 southbound express lane is closed.
