A single vehicle crash with injuries has closed a shoulder on the northbound Turnpike in Martin County on Wednesday morning.
Florida 511 reported the crash just before Mile Marker 120, just north of the Palm Beach County line, at 7:36 a.m.
At 7:56 a.m., officials said that the north and southbound lanes have been closed.
In the latest update at 8:31 a.m. Florida 511 reported that the right shoulder has been blocked and traffic is backed up to Mile Marker 119.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reported that a single occupant is being flown to the hospital with injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol will be investigating the crash.
