WALTON COUNTY, Fla.– A 27-year-old Crestview man died in an accident on Thursday night in Walton County, according to FHP.
Troopers say the incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. when the drivers SUV, traveling northbound on US 331 State Road 83 at a high speed, veered off the road into the grass median.
The Crestview man attempted to correct the SUV’s path, causing it to rotate clockwise and leave the roadway, ultimately entering the east shoulder.
The SUV overturned, and the man was ejected during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP.
