Crews battling recycling plant fire in Largo

Largo Fire Rescue is working to put out flames at a recycling plant that started Monday night.

Police tell 10 Tampa Bay this is at GFL Environmental, formerly known as Angelo’s Recycled Materials, in the area of 20th Avenue Southeast.

Authorities say it is a two-alarm fire that started just before 8:30 p.m.

Pinellas County Fire Dispatch shows 24 fire units are on the scene as of about 10:15 p.m.

No injuries have been reported and officials are still working to figure out the cause of the fire.
