Charlotte County fire crews battled a house fire on Orient Avenue on Wednesday morning.
According to Charlotte County Public Safety, Charlotte County Fire & EMS crews responded to the home at 3:17 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames, with the roof already gone. Crews immediately began a defensive operation to contain the fire and protect surrounding homes.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
The official cause of the fire remains undetermined, but preliminary investigation has indicated it may have been electrical in nature, originating in the attic, CCPS said.
