One person is in custody as the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office conducts a criminal traffic investigation on Monday.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), its Paril Operations deputies are investigating near Avenue H and U.S. Highway 1. The sheriff’s office says they already have one suspect in custody.
Deputies say the scene is active and that motorists should expect significant traffic delays in the area.
The sheriff’s office asks that drivers use caution, seek alternate routes, and follow the direction of the law enforcement personnel who are on site.
