Dashcam video shows stolen car crash in Miami Gardens during police chase

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Newly released dashcam video shows the crashing end to a wild police chase last week that ended in Miami Gardens.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers tried to stop a stolen blue Infiniti SUV April 28 on Florida’s Turnpike near Northwest 27th Avenue.

But authorities said the driver, identified as Dkwon Xavier Anderson, 44, of Miami Gardens, wouldn’t stop and led troopers on a chase that ended when the Infiniti crashed into a marked FHP unit in the area of Northwest 186th Terrace and 32nd Avenue in Miami Gardens.

Troopers said Anderson fled on foot, but was taken into custody a short time later.

Anderson faces several charges, including grand theft, fleeing and eluding, and resisting an officer with violence.
