A 47-year-old Daytona Beach man was killed late Tuesday in a motorcycle crash on a ramp to Interstate 4 in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal single-vehicle wreck happened around 10 p.m. on the I-4 entrance ramp from State Road 536.
The FHP said the man was riding a 2006 Honda CBR600 on the I-4 east entrance ramp when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran into the grassy shoulder.
The man was thrown from his bike and was taken to Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, an FHP crash report said.
