Highway 710 in Okeechobee County is currently closed in both directions due to a crash.
The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said on Wednesday at 3:21 a.m. that the closure is in the 4601 block.
The Florida Highway Patrol report shows that the crash happened at the entrance to the Ancient Oaks R.V. Resort Condominium Association.
According to OCSO, the highway will possibly be closed for several hours.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the crash involved at least one fatality.
Officials are urging drivers to use alternate routes and said they will provide updates when the road reopens.
