Deadly crash in North Fort Myers kills 1 woman

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one woman in North Fort Myers on Monday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. near Del Prado Boulevard North and Sabal Springs Boulevard.

FHP reports that a vehicle was driving east on Del Prado Boulevard North by a 48-year-old male from North Fort Myers

A 70-year-old woman from North Fort Myers stood on the eastbound travel lane of Del Prado Boulevard North, east of Sabal Springs Boulevard.

According to FHP, the vehicle then collided with the woman, killing her.

The crash is under investigation.
